Cobb Veterans Memorial Foundation gathered in hopes that after four long years of hard work and some delays, they can move forward on their mission.
The construction date is set for 2020 and they hope to begin fundraising very soon. County-approved seed money was released to the Cobb Veterans Memorial Foundation last week and private donations are expected to fund the rest of the memorial construction.
