Jim has over 27 years of experience in architectural design and project management     for local and national clients.  He has extensive experience in master planning, programming and building design for a variety of project types including: financial, healthcare, church, residential, educational, commercial, computer, retail and governmental facilities.

RELEVANT PERSONAL AND/OR COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

Jim is the founder and President of Croft & Associates Architecture, a full-service architecture firm located in Acworth, Ga.  The 18-person firm was founded in 2005 and has since grown steadily.  Croft & Associates recently designed, built and opened their new LEED registered office building on Blue Springs Road in Acworth.

Croft & Associates has experience in designing a variety of facilities including Churches, Hospitality, Mixed Use/Retail, Mission Critical, Education, Municipal Government as well as Federal Government facilities.

The firm has won such awards as the “Top 25 Small Businesses in Cobb County” as well as awards for the “Best Travel Plaza Design” by Convenience Store News in 2008 & 2009.

Jim’s personal activities include: active member of Acworth United Methodist Church, Board of Trustees Chairman for past 8 years.

Jim has lived in the Acworth area for nearly 25 years. He has been married to Leslie for 27 years and they have 3 children: Brett (23), Marissa (21) and Emily (17).
