Cobb-based MetroAtlanta Ambulance Services has donated $25,000 to the Cobb Veterans Memorial Foundation to help build the Croft-designed memorial by the Cobb Civic Center on Fairground Street in Marietta.
Present at the check presentation was Pete Quinones, president and CEO of MetroAtlanta Ambulance and State Rep. Devan Seabaugh, vice president of MetroAtlanta Ambulance, along with foundation directors.
“We are most grateful for this more than generous donation from MetroAtlanta Ambulance Services and the undying support from State Rep. Seabaugh for our veterans at the State Capital,” said Donna Rowe, foundation president. “This donation will get the foundation very close to our funding goal in order to start this beautiful memorial to honor all veterans in Cobb and the Southeast who have served in order to keep us free.”
