Donna Kosicki

Board Member

Donna is a daughter of an Army Veteran who served in France between the Korean conflict and
the Vietnam War, and daughter-in-law of the 110 th AAA World War II Army Veteran and Purple
Heart Recipient. Donna has an extensive background in leadership in the non-profit sector
focused on education, as a consultant, and parliamentarian.

In education, since 2000, she has served in PTA at all levels – local to national. Strengthening
statewide educational partnerships in support of access and achievement for all students, as
Georgia PTA President (2011 – 2013), she launched the first and subsequent statewide family
engagement conferences (2012, 2014, 2016, 2018). She served as a member of the State
Advisory Panel for Special Education, State Superintendent’s Transition Advisory Committee,
and GA Representative to the Southwest Educational Development Laboratory (SEDL) /
Southeast Comprehensive Center (SECC).

As a consultant, Donna specialized in family engagement and Title I compliance, providing
training to school districts and local schools, and was an organizational member of the State
Superintendent’s Parent Advisory Council; served Communities in Schools, Inc., United Way of
Greater Atlanta, Manhattan Strategy Group, and Great Prospects, Inc. Donna also was Host
Interviewer for “Cherokee Talk” with Grace Radio, WPCG 102.9 FM.

Donna is a member of the National Association of Parliamentarians (NAP) and Georgia State
Association of Parliamentarians (GSAP) since 2011, and a lifelong learner of Robert’s Rules of
Order. She currently serves as Chair of the GSAP Publicity Committee, and has served as a
member of the GSAP Education Committee and Program Chair of the 2023 and 2024 GSAP
Conventions. Donna teaches parliamentary law and procedure workshops to GSAP
membership, various PTA and political groups; and serves as parliamentarian on local and state
boards and conventions.

As a Director on the Cobb Veterans Memorial Foundation, Donna currently serves as the Events
Committee Chair, and is the Military Ball & Gala 2024 and 2025 Chair. She is Parliamentarian
and a member of the Bylaws Committee.

Donna is most passionate about her family, her service to all Veterans and all things
parliamentary, and her love for God and country. She and her husband, Bob, enjoy a wonderful
life together with their three amazing children.
